☆FRANCE☆

●Today's Menu●
How are you? A hot day continues recently! This year's rainy season might have gone to somewhere.
Well, do you want to go to France? There seem to be a lot of delicious sweets!
Therefore, I'll introduce French sweets to you this time!


~Menu ONE~
●Kouign Amann●
This is a traditional cake of Bretagne.
Kouign means cake, and Amann means butter; that is, Kouign Amann are made of butter from Bretagne.
Enough having salt butter is use for this, and sweet caramel is painted on the surface and it is baked.
It is sold in the convenience store also in Japan.


~Menu TWO~
●Brioche●
Here is one of the sweet roll of France. Suddenly, do you know Marie Antoinette? Actually, there is a little relation between this cake and her.
"If there is no bread, you eat the cake."
She said that during poverty and food shortage in France. This cake she had said was actually this Brioche. Then, she also was eating Brioche!

~Today's Special Menu~
●Croquembouche●
This is tower of many many little cream puffs! In France, they eat it as wedding cake. How fantastic! It seems to be very delicious!;-)
And it seems to be said that the higher it piles up the cream puff, the more the happy married life can be spent in France.
There was a couple who made this croquembouche as wedding cake.

☆OKINAWA☆

●Today's Menu●
It is completely hot. Summer will come soon! Thus, I'm going to present cakes of Okinawa this time. I think you also know because it is standard cakes in Okinawa.


~Menu ONE~
This is SATA ANDAGI (サーターアンダギー)
It is one of the tradition cake in Okinawa.
'SATA' means sugar, 'ANDAGI' means frying by oil in the dialect of Okinawa.
So, it is Okinawa version doughnut!
Because enough sugar is used, are women a caution needed!?;-)


~Menu TWO~
This is TINSUKOU (ちんすこう)
Probably, many people know this cakes.
These cakes are much sweetness! So when you eat TINSUKOU, you need drinks which is not sugary.
And there are many kinds of tastes as you know.My favorite tastes are KOKUTOU and BENIIMO.
Try that by all means!
