This is a traditional cake of Bretagne.
Kouign means cake, and Amann means butter; that is, Kouign Amann are made of butter from Bretagne.
Enough having salt butter is use for this, and sweet caramel is painted on the surface and it is baked.
It is sold in the convenience store also in Japan.

~Menu TWO~
●Brioche●
Here is one of the sweet roll of France. Suddenly, do you know Marie Antoinette? Actually, there is a little relation between this cake and her.
"If there is no bread, you eat the cake."
She said that during poverty and food shortage in France. This cake she had said was actually this Brioche. Then, she also was eating Brioche!

~Today's Special Menu~
●Croquembouche●
This is tower of many many little cream puffs! In France, they eat it as wedding cake. How fantastic! It seems to be very delicious!;-)
And it seems to be said that the higher it piles up the cream puff, the more the happy married life can be spent in France.
There was a couple who made this croquembouche as wedding cake.
